For the last few Saturdays Tim Sukits and our very own Ed Midler,  along with the help of some very gracious host and friends, have been holding Press Kit Parties at the Hub Incubator. For the past three Saturdays we have invited local original musicians and bands to come in and play a few acoustic songs and be photographed by some of Sarasota’s finest entertainment photographers. The soul purpose of these events was to give bands the opportunity to have some professional photographs for there own Press Kits, websites and other projects such as our upcoming Noise Ordinance 2 CD compilation due out in April. We were also able to give many bands the opportunity to meet their fellow musicians and media personal from several local publications. Many bands also stopped by to finalize their submissions and paper work for the second annual CD production. Also on hand was Noise Ordinance Colleague Greg Bowdish who gave presentations to band members on how use social media to make their presence on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr more productive, making it easier for venues and fans to find their information in more places on the internet. The Press Kit event will continue an Saturdays for several weeks at the Hub Incubator from Noon till 4pm.
