With the beautiful and talented Erin Murphy of The Equines behind the bar servin’ up the drinks, to a who’s who regular stream of Sarasota musicians floating in and out all night…I’m so happy this place exists…the postage stamp size stage only allows one to be even more intimate with the “players,” and play their hearts OUT they DO! Last Wednesday night served up the usual eclectic mix bag of talent from David Daly’s “Completely From Mountains” haunting solo acoustic act, to the new-ish old school rock of “Stiff Saints” (Justin Kaiser, Bryan Beardsley, and sitting in on drums Claire Franklin) and closing out the night the all improv experimental” Essex” with John Lichtenstein. Do yourself a favor and catch an all original band in this cozy place and meet some really cool locals! Now non-smoking inside as well!
