(the) Umbrella Cult - Sue Aside

A swinging, psychedelic melody swoops in and carries you away to a land of mirages, provocative imagery and yearning on the track from Floridian sextet (the) Umbrella Cult.  Brimming with 60’s garage pop aesthetics the track creates a sense of colour bursting from a monochrome world, and despite having nostalgic qualities also sounds completely current and relevant.

As impossible not to like and stop playing as any song you’ve heard this year; full of harmonies, melody, drive, simple yet intelligent lyrics and a zeal and allure that you can so easily get drunk on.

You can get your free copy from the band’s bandcamp page.
